Pongamos que Al Qaeda desaparece. Que todos sus dirigentes son eliminados. Que también se acaba con aquellos que fueron adoctrinados y entrenados por esos dirigentes. Ni siquiera así acabaría la "guerra contra el terrorismo".
La misma existencia de Internet garantiza que estaremos siempre en guerra, según el secretario de Seguridad Interior, Michael Chertoff.
"They can train themselves over the Internet. They never have to necessarily go to the training camp or speak with anybody else and that diffusion of a combination of hatred and technical skills in things like bomb-making is a dangerous combination," Chertoff said. "Those are the kind of terrorists that we may not be able to detect with spies and satellites."

La Guerra Eterna.
Como si no hubiera razones suficientes, se esfuerzan por poner el parche en el hipotético caso de que se acaben los terroristas, no vaya a ser que se les acabe la mamela por imprevisión.
Antes quemaban los libros, ahora que apenas se lee, quemarán los ordenadores.
